Fall 2014 Furniture Trends

What we love about New York City is that it celebrates every season full of passion. It’s starting to feel like fall, so this week let’s take a look at some fall furniture trends! First up, pleated furniture. We’re loving this Coaster Parkins Parsons chair. The pleated bottom will transform your dining room into an elegant space, just in time for holiday gatherings!

This fall, we’re seeing statement dining tables as a popular trend.  This dining room combines two trends – a statement table and the furniture pleating that we highlighted yesterday!

We’re also seeing a home trend that utilizes small spaces in the house and transforms them into tiny rooms.  For example, this small space solution takes a tiny nook in a Manhattan apartment and transforms it into a home office with custom made drawers and shelving.

Green furniture is a big fall home trend but not the color, the movement!  Cisco Homes makes chic furniture using plant friendly upholstery.  We love the sexy look of this Francesca Bed from their green collection!

Dramatic and Dark Bedroom

Dramatic Rooms We Love: this bedroom with deep rich color and dramatic graphics.  Sexy and chic!  Would you want this same look in your home?

How To Create A Dream Closet: Valet Rods

In every dressing room we design, we love to include valet rods. These retractable rods pull out to give you a place to hang your future work outfit or a place to hang dry cleaning that was just picked up.

How To Create A Dream Closet: Clothing Island

If your closet is big enough, a clothing island is a chic way to forgo a dresser.  Use this to store small items such as gym clothes, socks, lingerie, etc.  You can even put sleek storage boxes on the top to maximize the entire piece.
